Watch where ya down load these "apps" as 3rd party dnld sites want to add extras that are worse than what ya had when ya went lookn for a helper.ĬCLEANER (dnload at the piriform site only ) has a "startup" app in it. Had malwarebytes since it arrived on the market. I am running only AVG now, computer works good (fast ), should I add another ? I reinstalled this latest malwarebites free edition from the internet, thinking the update might have been corrupted, same slow / lockup problem. I removed malwarebites and the computer is now faster than it has been for years. The computer became slow to the point of locking up. Malwarebites just updated to version 2.0.2-1012 on my old XP computer a few days ago.
